Everyone's talking about this video of North West trying to dodge paparazzi

Should a toddler have to ask photographers for privacy?

SHE MAY BE just two years old, but North West already has to beg paparazzi to give her privacy.

This video of the toddler trying to hurry away from the paps is going viral – she can be heard shouting “I said no pictures!” as the photographers chuckle in the background.

The video has provoked a mixed reaction – while some people think it’s cute, others are wondering why an actual baby should have to ask for privacy, or even be photographed at all when famous parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t present.

In 2013, a bill was passed in California which made it illegal to photograph a child because of their parents’ employment, in a manner that “seriously alarms, annoys, or terrorises them”.

Famous supporters of the bill included Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, and Kristin Bell.

Kim and Kanye seem fairly comfortable with North being photographed (Kim regularly Instagrams paparazzi shots of her), but North herself often makes her feelings very clear.
